They were very kind, one of the days I had to leave before breakfast time so I would miss it and they made sure I had something delicious I could take away the next morning so that made me very happy. All of the products they use are vegan (soap, conditioner, shampoo,etc). My room had a huge closet and I could fit my suitcases in it so they weren’t in the middle of the room, I had a little balcony and private bathroom in my room which is very rare in B&B. They offer Japanese style breakfast, made with love and it has all the details, it was so delicious and filling. I stayed with a non vegan japanese friend and he even said he would turn vegan if he could get that food everyday!☺️ I wish I stayed for longer in Kyoto! I’ll be back💜🌱

The staff was extremely friendly (special mention for a charming Japanese young lady who had studied in Spain, and having learned that one of our sons liked Real Madrid, went our of her way to print tickets, the typical fan song, etc and deliver it to his room the next day), all perfectly fluent in English. The breakfast was delicious (choice between Japanese or Western-style), served in a private room for our family. The rooms come look like traditional ryokan but with modern equipment, including private outside hot baths, shower, etc. Definitely recommend!

The room was very clean, and I really liked the wooden bathroom andthe wooden bathtub The room was larger than expected and the bathroom was also large.

This was one of the best place I have stayed in Japan. The space felt like a cozy home. Many amenities were included(hair care, body, toothpaste). Bathroom and toliet is separated, which is great. The young owner was really considerate and gave clear orientation to the house. He also recommended alot of the different restaurants and places to visit. Additionally, answered all questions we had in a quick manner. I would definitely come back again when I am in Kyoto.
