Providing city views, Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA is located in the Kannawa Onsen district of Beppu, 26 km from Resonac Dome Oita and 5.5 km from Beppu Station. Super authentic ryokan, in the middle of the old city, with all the public onsens. The host is very friendly and cool, gives maps, coupons and useful recomendations. Rooms arer spacious and clean. Small cute onsen, where you can go privately owner also sets up a parking a minute walk from the Ryokan. When we will be back to beppu- definately will stay there again.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Yufuin Onsen Tsukanoma is situated in Yufu, 46 km from Resonac Dome Oita and 1.8 km from Kinrinko Lake. I recently stayed at this onsen resort in Yufuin and it was hands down the best onsen experience I've ever had! The rooms were incredibly spacious, equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a microwave and all cooking essentials. The private outdoor onsen was simply spectacular, offering a serene and private escape. It felt like having our own private villa in the heart of nature. Yufuin itself is a charming town, adding to the overall magic of the stay. What's even more surprising is the affordability of this luxurious retreat. Having stayed in much pricier onsen resorts before, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. I can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise in Japan. Highly recommended!

Boasting an open-air bath, garden and views of mountain, Ikkoten is situated in Yufu, 50 km from Resonac Dome Oita. This ryokan offers free private parking and full-day security. Loved the traditional ryokan vibe and the scenery. Loved the kaiseiki breakfast.

Karatsu Seaside Hotel offers accommodation in Higashi Karatsu. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Very nice hotel with fantastic staff.

We absolutely loved everything about this peaceful ryokan—the beautiful grounds, the delicious Kaiseki meals, the relaxing onsens (both private and public), the clean and comfortable room, and the incredibly kind staff. A standout feature was the private dining room assigned to each guest room, which added an extra touch of exclusivity and charm.

Situated in Aso, 42 km from Kumamoto Castle, Syukubo Aso features accommodation with a public bath. Meals (breakfast and dinner were great)

Located in Chikushino, 500 metres from Buso-ji Temple, Daimaru Besso has a number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi. This was the best stay I have ever stayed. So much that I really want to gatekeep it. It was whimsical and out of a fairytale, looks exactly, if not better than the pictures. I really regret not staying longer. Room was super vintage beautiful and clean, very big too. Facilities are good, hot baths were immaculate. I am 200% going back. This place was the best decision I have made last year. Highly recommend❤️ thank you for making my stay memorable❤️✨
