Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. A beautiful retreat from the big city. I loved the short 5 minute walk to the ocean or a gorgeous walk along the Itoo river. The walk to the hostel was really lovely. I'll never forget sitting in the viewing area in our room as it rained under the moonlight.

Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, as well as 36 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. The breakfast and dinner were great. We enjoyed some of traditional Japanese dishes. Also we enjoyed coffee at the balcony over looking the Pacific Ocean. The location was quiet and privacy was ensured, so we were able to maintain our Nonerelaxing time. Last but not least, guest room with private open-air bath was great.

SOKI ATAMI features a sauna and a hot spring bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Atami, 1.7 km from Atami Sun Beach. This 4-star ryokan offers a 24-hour front desk and a lift. One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had.

Set 10 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. I would say this is a hidden gem for a non japanese speaking tourist. Its quite far from popular destination but everything about this inn so so perfect. The hospitality, the cleanliness, the food, all of those are superb. Not to mention the onsens. We got to choose different private onsen room, one of them is jacuzzi! Cant praise this inn enough. We were so happy, even my wife started to cry when we had to leave this property. Definitely will recommend to other travelers.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. The property is very clean and cozy. It’s also complete with facilities like hot shower and bath, fridge, hot water kettle, and so on. It is a guesthouse so I think the owner went above and beyond to make their customers comfortable. Also, the owner offers rides to restaurants and onsens nearby which makes stay even more convenient.

Located in Higashiizu in the Shizuoka Region, 1.8 km from Atagawa Hot Spring, Kissho Caren boasts a terrace and spa centre. Guests can enjoy the sunrise and views of Sagami Bay. Excellent facilities. Very pampering, great relaxing ambience. Superb meals: dinner was spectacular both in quality, taste and presentation; for breakfast we tried both Japanese and western styles and both were great.

2.7 km from Atagawa You Yu Beach in Higashiizu, Bousui offers accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and hot tub. Really like the tatami-style room! Enjoyed the great view of ocean and fancy gazebo! Dinner was also amazing!

Boasting sea views, Migiwaya provides accommodation with balcony, around 7.3 km from Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. The breakfast was amazing. It was a whole set of assorted fish and other traditional Japanese food.

Featuring private open-air hot spring bath in all rooms, Isaribi is located in Hagashiizu, 2.7 km from Atagawa Hot Springs. Everything, it lived up to and more of what I thought I would get from a traditional japanese experience, while also being accommodating to my lacking ability of japanese language

Offering free WiFi access at public areas and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Tatsuta Ryokan is located a 5-minute walk from Yugashima Onsenguchi Bus Stop from which Shuzenji Station is a 30-minute... Everything. This is an incredible experience
