Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. Our stay here was impressive, we had the deluxe family room, which was spacious and had a cozy Japanese vibe to it. The hotel staff was amazing and even though I changed our arrival day like 10 times and we arrived so late in the evening, dinner was prepared for us and we had a private traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast. can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Nastanitev Tamonkan se nahaja v mestu Tsuruoka, 24 km od znamenitosti Akvarij Kamo, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter teraso. I had a lovely stay at Tamonkan, to top off a great week travelling beautiful Tohoku. The hosts were so kind (including letting me use the shower after I’d checked out and been soaked climbing Mt Haguro!). The food was delicious and affordable, and the accommodation clean and comfortable. I’d highly recommend Tamonkan to anyone wanting to visit Dewa Sanzan. Thank you for a great stay!

Hotel Miyamaso Takamiya se nahaja 10 min hoje od gondole Zao Sky Cable in se ponaša z 9 kadmi z naravno vodo iz vrelca. Lesena zgradba odseva tradicionalni slog japonskih gostišč. The food and service were excellent. Staff were very nice.

Nastanitev Ikkyu -Seaside Hotel- se nahaja v okrožju Yunohama Onsen (Tsuruoka), 4 km od znamenitosti Akvarij Kamo. Amazing location by the sea. We watched a perfect sunset from our dinner table and walked on a beautiful beach in the morning. The staff are very kind, helpful, and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Cold green tea is available outside the baths. A probiotic drink was offered in the morning.

Nastanitev Tsukasaya Ryokan se nahaja v okrožju Yutagawa Onsen (Tsuruoka), 12 km od znamenitosti Akvarij Kamo. Of all the hotels and ryokans I stayed at during my two weeks traveling Japan, the night at Tsukasaya Ryokan was by far my favorite. Mrs. Shoji personally came out and greeted me at my taxi. From that moment onward, I felt as if I was receiving an experience personalized just for me. After showing me to my room, Mrs. Shoji informed me of several local attractions (parks, shrines, temples, etc.) that were lovely to visit prior to returning for dinner. Every moment of the stay felt thoughtfully crafted and authentic. The food was delicious, containing many dishes that I had never before experienced. The onsen, while small and enclosed, was at just the right temperature and left my skin feeling the best it has in years. The design of the structure was charming and authentic (as best that a foreigner like myself can judge). The staff were friendly and accommodating.

We had a lovely stay at Hagurokan. Excellent Japanese hospitality- we felt very welcomed and cared for. The ryokan itself is beautiful, and the traditional meals were so good. Every dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!
