Our host was great, so sweet and helpful with any questions we might have had. The apartment was clean and cosy, everything was all new and had everything we needed to cook dinner. In the back yard was a pool, which we had all to ourselves. There is a parking spot reserved for the apartment. All in all a great experience, what I can recommend to anyone wanting to visit this area, close to the Italian border.

Great and very nice accomodation with very kind owner.
House is situated close to Skocjan cave, with good distance either to Piran or Opatija.
Advantage is , that it is very quite place - small village
House is clean and very spacious. With very good equipped kitchen and bathroom.
Everything is great! I can imagine, that in future visit of Slovenia I book this home for stay!
(There is no shop close, so you have to buy everything before arrival. It is not problem, if you know it.)

If you like to cook yourself … there is a little kitchenette in the hostel, but we booked the dinner (4 courses by Jure the chief). This was a very good decision- we also booked the breakfast the next morning. We were very satisfied - don’t expect a restaurant….its just the chief (and boss ) and yourself at a table on the porch…very good atmosphere and very good dinner.TomYoung couple

The room facilities were simple but sufficient. We paid extra for the breakfast from local products. The hostel has a garden where you can relax. There is a communal kitchen with utensils as well. Quite location and not too much around but one of the coolest caves of Slovenia: Skocjan cave nearby, which is a UNESCO Wordl Heritage site. Book online in advance to avoid waiting. In the Hostel some different special beers are available. Kitchen outside and inside available. Bathroom and shower was awesome. Free Towels :)

The dorm room has AC which was very good and you can get a discount for the caves which are literally next door. The breakfast was amazing! We didn’t had dinner but apparently it was very good. There is also a kitchen one can use to cook their own food. The staff and especially Ingrid were lovely. We talked a lot to her and she told us a lot about Slovenia.

Hosts could not be more welcoming and kind, we had a health issue and the host went home to look for medicines, as all pharmacies were closed when we arrived, due to bank holiday. Room cosy and very clean, though not big, it had everything we could need. Our dog also was welcomed. Breakfast delicious and plentiful. There’s a garden outside, and everything is spotless clean. There’s also a small kitchenette for the guests to use. Hospitality at its best. Loving it, thank you 😊.
