Boasting an outdoor saltwater pool, free on-site parking and BBQ facilities, Port Douglas Motel is just 3 minutes' walk from Four Mile Beach. This accommodation suited me perfectly for me stay: bright, clean and comfortable, with the option to cook and the location was perfect being 'away' from the busiest part of town but easy to walk to everything I needed. I'll definitely stay here again when I return to Port Douglas. I also appreciated the recycling facilities: only the second accommodation I found this in probably 15-20 different accommodations used during my trip.

The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. We loved everything about our stay! We were blown away by the supply of items for guests to use during their stay. From board games/dvds, to beach gear, bicycles, bbqs, coolers etc. we had a fantastic time with more than we could ever need. We could walk to 4 mile beach in less than 1 minute, and we were surrounded by countless restaurants/cafes/shops on the other side.

Carolyn was a great host. Very accommodating. Place was a fab. Clean tidy spacious and a great location. The veranda and outdoor space were just want we were looking for. Highly recommend.
