EVERYTHING about Chalet Alpenrose, Misurina, and Ida (the host) exceeded our expectations. Simply put, this place was WORTH IT on so many levels. We mixed up our travel dates, and Ida *offered* to adjust our booking for no extra charge. She gave us fantastic recommendations for hikes that were appropriate for three (distinct) hiking levels among our trio of travelers plus great suggestions for food, how to buy stamps, etc. And, we got lucky with Misurina, like wow. It was so tranquil, affordable, and simple to navigate compared to many of the charming-yet-intense places we've traveled through in Italy (we've been to Italy twice now). Truly, Misurina felt like home in the best ways (we're from a mountainous, somewhat rural region in North America), and Ida's hospitality and recommendations played a major role. Beyond what I've already noted, the apartment was GREAT for a couple and additional adult (one older parent) - plenty of room to spread out, truly amazing views, and gorgeous, Scandanavian-esque simple design. Every day, Ida brought us a basket with all sorts of things for breakfast, including fresh eggs we could cook to our taste, fresh meats and cheese, warm bread and croissants, and more. Also, having a hot water kettle and a dishwasher were *so* welcome after almost 2 weeks of travel in hotels. There are also nice, free laundry facilities on-site, and Ida helped us navigate the multi-lingual machines and get the right detergent (we did not initially buy the right stuff on our own!). And, there's a handy drying rack in the room, as well as lots of storage space. Ida also let us have a later check-out time so that we could go on one last, half-day hike into a wilderness area nearby before leaving. I'm probably forgetting things, but the short story is: if you can, skip Cortina and head for Chalet Alpenrose.

The apartment was clean and cosy with the mountain atmosphere created by using Wood and Stone. Fully equipped kitchen. Parking in front of the apartment. Plus the owners are our heros for helping us with flat tire issue.

Spacious apartments with terrace and large bath. The apartment had everything you could need for your stay. Our destination was Tre Cime, the location was just right. Communication with the hosts was great. The stay exceeded expectations.

Located in the popular ski resort of Cortina D’Ampezzo, Savoia Palace offers self-catering apartments with rustic-style décor. Some offer panoramic views of the Cristallo and Tofane mountains. Located in the heart of Cortina. The apartment is made of a small living room, a small bedroom and a bathroom. There is a small kitchenette added to the convenience. Spotless clean. Also liked the valet service. You just park the car next to the hotel and give the key to the reception. They will bring the car back whenever you need it. The view from the balcony was spectacular!

Appartamento Diamante - Ad un passo dalla Ciclabile asub Auronzo di Cadores, 19 km kaugusel Misurina järvest, 27 km kaugusel Dürrensee'ist ja 28 km kaugusel Cadore'i järvest. Great apartment in a peaceful location close to the beautiful river (with a walking path by the river). Host send us all the necessary info about the keys (key box just outside the house, by main entrance) and location with maps. Spacious parking by the house. Wi-fi works well. Kitchen is well equipped with all main utensils for cooking. Has microwave, toaster. We found cookies, tea and coffee on the table upon arrival, so sweet! Has 2 bedrooms (1 double bed in 1st bedroom+ 2 singles in another). 2 bathrooms (1 with shower and washing machine). Very clean in general. Visited in mid-September, after the snow storms in Dolomiti, so it was quite cold inside (no heating yet), but the provided blankets were enough. Beautiful balcony. Dog friendly!

A recently renovated apartment located in Pieve di Cadore, Casa Elena features a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. New and cozy apartment in the Cadore area. Clean and well equipped with a comfortable bed and massive bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. It definitely went beyond our expectations.

Modern mountain retreat with Tre Cime and lake views is located in Auronzo di Cadore, 26 km from Lake Misurina, 30 km from 3 Zinnen Dolomites - 3 Cime Dolomiti, and 34 km from Dürrensee. Very nice apartment with all of the amenities, in walking distance to everything.
