Featuring 4-star accommodation, Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels is located in Porto Moniz, 200 metres from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools and 40 km from Girao Cape. Excellent stay, from the staff and the check-in experience to the comfort and cleanliness of the studio, its excellent location and the breakfast. We also tried the spa at the Aqua Natura Bay on a rainy day and it was perfect! I would not hesitate to stay there again!

Three House Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Funchal. It was so very well appointed. Smeg Appliances, large and small. Location is the best in town to watch the NYE fireworks. They allow hotel guests a privileged part of the rooftop to enjoy the 360 view. The rooftop bar serves amazing drinks and food. The Friday night kabab menu was the best meal we had in Funchal. Croissants are delivered daily to your room. All this is wonderful, but the customer service is what sets Three House Hotel apart. Everyone went above and beyond, and a special shout out to Sid! Thank you all for a great Madeira experience

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. Wounderful hotel, great location, 10-15min walk from the old town of Funchal. The staff was so kind and helpful, we could ask for help at any time. The room was large, with really comfortable beds, nice bathroom and even a small well-equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and carefully desinfected. The garden is beautiful and well cared. The sunset from the garden was really beautiful. The breakfast: it was just petfect! Lot of fruits, bakery wares, 3 types of daily juices from fresh fruits, eggs, granola, banana pancake etc. And the best thing is that you can enjoy this awesome breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful panorama. They will give you a free parkingplace at the garage, so you can leave your car there safely.

Located within 400 metres of Marina do Funchal and 13 km of Girao Cape in Funchal, King David Suites by Madeira Sun Travel provides accommodation with seating area. Property itself is brand new, pleasant to be in. The facilities given were great. Staff was super attentive, always checking on us and providing quick answers to our concerns. As we went to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks, we were delighted with the location. Plenty of restaurants and activities to do. Would definitely recommend it to everyone visiting Funchal.

Situated within less than 1 km of Marina do Funchal and 14 km of Girao Cape, Tanoeiros Residence by An Island Apart features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Funchal. Well equipped kitchen (we cooked our own breakfasts and often also dinners). Clean, spacious bathroom, everything one might need in the kitchen, close to the bus station(s), ocean, restaurants, etc.

Attractively situated in Funchal, Living Funchal iNN is a recently renovated apartment, which features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Very comfortable bed, extremely clean, good amenities, coffee maker, functional kitchen, has Aircon and is in a quiet street. Easy check in and check out. 10/10 will stay again.

In the Santa Luzia district of Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach, Atlântico Azul features an infinity pool and a washing machine. Amazing apartment with fantastic view so that you want to spend lots of time there, good quality furniture and equipment.

Set in Boaventura, 21 km from Santana's traditional houses, Terrabona Nature & Vineyards offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. Clearly the owners thought of every little detail. From the fresh bread in the morning, and the homemade caramel and jam, to the detailed booklet explaining far and beyond what you can do in the area and in the compound itself. We had a wonderful dinner with very nice guests, which was delicious and accompanied by great wine. The room was kept clean every day, and the pool and sauna were also clean and inviting. Top notch!

Set in Salão and only 6.4 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools, Los Amantes de la naturaleza. Offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. It's a place with a lot of character and that was well equiped, you can see that it is cherished ! Great view on the see, lovely cats and nice owners.. it was a perfect stay

Casal da Penha Apartments offers accommodation within 600 metres of the centre of Funchal, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge. We started our trip around the island here. It was an excellent choice. The place was extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The host was also very friendly, eager to help and easy to contact.
