The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The sauna was an absolute highlight, providing the perfect way to relax after exploring the historic town of Melk and the breathtaking Abbey nearby. The location couldn't be better—right in the heart of the charming old town, making it easy to stroll to local attractions, cafes, and shops. The attention to detail in the apartment was outstanding, from the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable bedding and the thoughtful touches that made my stay feel extra special. It was evident that the owners take great pride in ensuring their guests have an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Altstadt Apartments Melk mit Sauna to anyone visiting this beautiful part of Austria. It exceeded my expectations, and I would gladly stay here again in the future!

The hotel is a very nice old style building in the middle of a nice village. The room was exceptionally big, very bright, full of sun. It has a wonderful garden, very spacious with playground for children. The hotel staff is very pleasant and nice and the stay there was relaxing. I can recommend for couples but also for families, the surrounding area is just beautiful for hiking, walking, spending some time near Danube river if you drive app.30 minutes.

Hotel Schachner is located in the town of Maria Taferl, close to the basilica. It offers views of the Alps and the Danube River. Amazing spa facilities with a view to the Danube. The staff was very welcoming. The room had breathtaking views.
