A cute small hotel in a small place, with good road connections, because I visited various historical places, good breakfast, they also have a restaurant for lunch and dinner with typical Austrian cuisine, I would also mention a good range of desserts.

Located in picturesque scenery at the foot of the Hochkar Mountain, Hotel Fahrnberger offers a restaurant, a spa area, a bathing pond and Ayurveda treatments in Lassing, 8 km from Göstling's centre. We have already visited the region several times but without having an accommodation there. This time we chose a hotel just in the valley, where all interesting places are located around within 10 km. We were attracted by the Hochkar mountain and both the Wasserlochklamm and the Gams bei Hieflau waterfalls. The Fahrnberger hotel is a nice building already from outside and a reasonably big parking is located in front of the building. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, although we do not speak German (they also fluently speak English). We were accommodated in a nice, separate building near the main hotel building. We like the style how the hotel is equipped: it is a local Austrian natural design but providing the maximum comfort. We felt like we were on our honeymoon there. In the evening we enjoyed a great Riesling white wine in the hotel lounge. The four poster bed, located in our big and amazing room, provided a very pleasant environment in the night. The bathroom with a shower was also big and comfortable. The toilet was in a separate room. In the morning we have a nice mountain view from the window of our room. The breakfast was very tasty and we also enjoyed sitting places in front of the hotel to absorb the atmosphere of the Alps mountains. We left the hotel totally satisfied and the price for the accommodation seems to us very adequate. For sure, we plan to return there in the future.

Hotel Landhaus Moserhof is situated in the Old Town of Gumpoldskirchen. The design hotel offers elegantly furnished rooms with amenities like air conditioning and a flat-screen cable TV. Due to external circumstances I booked the room late evening before arrival and arrived late because of traffic problems. Lady on reception was wery kind and helpfull, all issues were solved before my arrival via telephone (when I stayed in the queue on the road).

A large spa, free Wi-Fi and a garden with outdoor pool and beer tap are offered at this 4-star hotel. It is set in the Austrian Black Forest, a 10-minute drive from Zwettl. I cannot express adequately how much I adore this hotel. It has everything I enjoy - a stunning location, brilliantly equipped rooms, wonderful food and drink served by lovely staff and last but not least, a spacious and relaxing spa area with swimming pool.

Hotel Schachner is located in the town of Maria Taferl, close to the basilica. It offers views of the Alps and the Danube River. First of all, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we first had a room in the "Schachner in the park" and then moved into the main building which has a direct access to the spa and the restaurant and bar. The view was absolutely exceptional, with a broad horizon and the autumn colors ....The food was absolutely delightful. The spa with the infinity pool and again the wonderful view was great, as are the possibilities for walks and hiking. We definitely will go back! thank you

Hotel Neustifter is located on a vineyard on the outskirts of Poysdorf in Lower Austria’s Weinviertel region, about 60 km north of Vienna. I arrived much later than expected and yet the wonderful lady at reception had a lovely smile for me - this makes all the difference after a day of disrupted travel - She was kind and lovely!!! Thank you!!
