Located in the centre of Eugendorf, a 15-minute drive from Salzburg, Salzburg Hotel Holznerwirt occupies a historic building dating back to 1390. A very old historic building of the 14thC. Neat and spacious common areas, good sized bedrooms; down feather amenities; logo slippers, gowns, and ten out of ten heating; very clean spa. Linen change as you wished and towels daily. Breakfast: it was above and beyond with fresh produce and a full basket of local dishes, Austrian hams and cheeses, scrambled eggs, fluffy viennese croissants, vegan & vegetarian diets, breads, desserts etc and a large assortment of juices, teas & coffees. Lunch and dinner: it was a pleasant experience too. The service of the staff: was excellent with very polite staff available to assist you in any in-house enquiries to suggestions for outdoor experiences. Location: location was value for money! Hotel in a small village, next to a large market center, a 14min drive to Salzburg Old Town and a 45min drive to the closest ski resort. We would definitely return to this gasthouse.

Laschenskyhof Hotel & Spa, with its comfortable lounge and sun terrace, is famous for its excellent, traditional meals which are served throughout the day. Can’t complain about nothing from my first step in till last out. From the reception team, bar/Restaurant team, SPA and everyone else connected to this beautiful Hotel it was an unbelievable experience should be a 7 star Hotel

Located in Wals on the green outskirts of Salzburg, Hotel Gabi has an outdoor pool and offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a balcony. Parking is free of charge. A bit far from Salzburg, but this was what we were looking for. Well organized, clean and big room. Breakfast was rich and the stuff was helpful. We loved the beach at closeby lake.

The Hotel zum Hirschen is Salzburgs oldest family-run hotel, conveniently located in the city center and only a few minutes by foot from the historic old town and the train station. Staff was super pleasant, friendly and helpful on checkin. And recognized us and was equally pleasant and friendly as we checked out. Gave us quick landmarks to go see as we were (unfortunately) only staying for less than a day. Room was clean with plenty of amenities available. Pillows were the best. Separate comforters was a nice detail. The rain shower was awesome. It was quiet the entire visit. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone.

Featuring a private beach, Hotel Garni Melanie in Wals bei Salzburg has an indoor swimming pool, a fitness room and a spa area with a sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and a sun bed. Close to Salzburg. Very clean. Very friendly. Great breakfast. Excellent room. We wanted to stop in Salzburg for a night as we were traveling through. This was a perfect stop. Everyone was really friendly. The staff was knowledgeable for recommendations on the area. The included breakfast was the best we have had. The room was excellent and the beds were made up for our family upon arrival. On site parking.
