The Hotel zum Hirschen is Salzburgs oldest family-run hotel, conveniently located in the city center and only a few minutes by foot from the historic old town and the train station. Excellent stay! Tasty breakfast, very comfortable bed, ideal location, and welcoming, attentive staff. Highly recommend!

A hideaway in the middle of the city. The charming boutique hotel has been family-run for three generations and is a pioneer of the common good economy. Staff is super friendly and willing to help. Breakfast is awesome, with a lot of options, even for vegans. Great location <10 minutes from the center. Bed was super confortable

Hotel Garni Melanie ligger i Wals ved Salzburg, og tilbyr innendørsbasseng, treningsstudio og spaområde med badstue, dampbad, infrarød badstue og solarium. We enjoyed the cleanliness and calming atmosphere of the interiors. The rooms were spacious, beds comfy. The rooms had balconies, which can be a great hangout place, if the weather allows it. Everything was quiet, we barely noticed there were other guests (there were). The staff was very helpful and kind. We loved breakfasts and the room service was also great. We had no problem or felt any obstruction in using the hotel's amenities (a pool, wellness, gym). As a bonus, Kiki the house cat is cute and cuddly. A small lake right in front of the hotel and a stream behind it make interesting points to get you out for a small walk, which we enjoyed. The hotel is close to the highway and our ride to the Salzburg city centre didn't take longer than 30 minutes.

The Grünauerhof is a cosy 4-star hotel in Wals on the outskirts of Salzburg, only 7 km away from the centre. Everything was really amazing. And I really do mean everything. Fantastically friendly and helpful staff , amazing room , great services , fantastic food and environment. Could not recommend enough
