Reviews don't lie. Congrats if you see this comment 'coz you have found a gem just like I did :) Rainer was a great host, he really mean it when he said "welcome home". I have stayed at many backpacker hostels when traveling alone before this but none of them gave the same vibe as Rainer's place. I felt extremely calm and safe staying at his place. The homestay is beautiful, clean, warm, and equipped with everything we need (including converter, padlock, numerous charging points etc). It also has a great view and I enjoy looking at the scenery through the big window in the living room. I also love that they have female-only rooms and big bathrooms. I think people tend to just naturally mingle with each other under the comfortable atmosphere in the homestay. Everyone were just so lovely and friendly. Rainer sets few simple rules which give all the guests a peace of mind. As he is staying at the same place I could easily reach out to him if I had any questions. He will give a clear guidance once you make the booking and that basically will answer all the questions you may have about his place. Few quick pointers that may help: 1) Transport: There is a bus stop just 2min walking distance from the homestay and the bus never failed to arrive on time (helpful tips: use SBB apps to monitor the time schedule). The bus comes twice in an hour and takes around 18mins to town. 2) Early check in: As I reached Lucerne early in the morning Rainer allowed me to leave my luggage at the homestay before the check-in time 3) Breakfast/ Food: Simple breakfast (instant noodles, bread, cereals) with additional charges are provided, all prices are specified on the menu and you could just make your own payment using the credit card machine in the kitchen. You can also buy your own ingredients and cook. The kitchen are well equipped with the cooking utensils.

Luksuzni hotel Park Hotel Vitznau nalazi se neposredno uz obalu jezera Lucerne. Objekt je potpuno preuređen 2012. i 2013. godine. This is one of the best hotels out there. From the very start the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was absolutely stunning and the food was 10/10. It's located in a cute/quiet town. It's absolutely perfect for a Christmas holiday!

The Hotel Vitznauerhof - Lifestyle Hideaway at Lake Lucerne is located at the foothills of Mount Rigi on the shores of Lake Lucerne, in the heart of Central Switzerland. Well, right from the word go at the reception, I knew I found the right place. First and foremost, the great, GREAT Staff who not just guest but accommodated every oddball request - including that for my favorite dessert of Crêpes Suzette :-D !!! The food was superb, the wine awesome and the Aperol Spritz out of this world! My room was phenomenal with a giant bathtub in which I soaked every morning! Overall, an awesome, awesome, otherworldly experience in paradise!

The family-owned 5-star Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is located right in the Old Town of Lucerne, next to the lake. It offers a spa area and elegant rooms with modern furniture. Staff, room, breakfast, facilities - all were excellent and I would stay here again

We really enjoyed the private spa stay in Sursee, It was truly a wonderful Experience. Future guests do check this place out. First its location is a bit odd, as it is situated in an industrial area, in an office building complex where there are other businesses. But once you enter the spa side of the building, you do enter a lovely space and you do quickly forget that you’re in an office complex. You get a lovely big whirlpool jacuzzi, a sauna, and an open walk-in shower. There is a fridge filled with drinks and snacks “not included in on the cost, which would have been nice, but still with the supplied price list, the costs are acceptable. There is a Bluetooth speaker, a tv, and two air conditioners. One for tempature and the other for humidity. We did not use the Bluetooth speaker or the TV, so we can’t comment on that. You get 4 towels and 2 bath robes. And for all you smokers out there, there is a seperated smoking room. Just around the corner from the building where the room is located is a truly fantastic restaurant called Barrage, great food, awesome atmosphere, lovely dinner spot, 2 min drive, or a short walk. We also did not opt to have food service, so no breakfast or dinner. Mainly because we wanted to go out for dinner, and you need to leave at 10am in the morning sharp!, which for us, as parents of many kids, never getting the opportunity to sleep late, meant we slept as late as we could, and if we were to have breakfast, we would have needed a later check out time, and so we opted to sleep late, leave at 10 have a late breakfast elsewhere. This place does come recommended, our stay was fantastic, the Jacuzzi, so nice. If your goal is to relax, this is a great place to do it. Quiet, peaceful, Private, you get your own space to just chill out, and that is exactly what we got, it was really wonderful, I enjoyed every second of it, and do highly recommend this place.
