Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff at the front desk and excellent locatiin. We added breakfast which was very good but a bit costly. Room 21 was great.

We rented 2 rooms in this well decorated and very nice guesthouse. It is located in the country side in a beautiful area. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Great breakfast. Sylvie, the host is extremely nice and welcoming. She also assisted us in planning our last day in the Black Forest and Alsace.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful property. The room was spacious, very comfortable and pristine. The common areas were great and the game room was pretty impressive. And most importantly, the host were lovely to chat with and gave us great advice regarding the region and places to visit - we had breakfast (which was great by the way) in their company and could exchange in length. Strongly recommend staying here - we were there with the family, and we would definitely go back just with my wife, to visit a bit more the region.

Gorgeous property and quaint comfortable rooms. Staff was professional and friendly. Dinner was 5 star with a solid wine list. Will def return next visit!

It is a clean, spacious and comfortable apartment with access to jacuzzi and sauna. All rooms provide a warm welcome and homely feeling which is nice and definitely not standard for holiday apartments. All amenities where great with two showers and a well fitted kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and personnel was very friendly, before our stay and during, although we did not have a lot of interaction.

A very nice place in an absolutely quiet environment. Just what I had been looking for. I explored the Vosges during the day and came back to have a cool beer on the terrace, relax by the pool and later go for an excellent dinner and a nice glass of wine in the restaurant. After a restful sleep (no through traffic in or air traffic over Birkenwald) I enjoyed the breakfast with its variety of breads, jams, charcuterie, cheese, eggs (ok, I could have tried all of it, but I didn't - I DO have my limits after all)... All too soon the weekend was over and it was time to move on. But I certainly have added the 'Au Chasseur' to my list of very nice places in the Vosges - well worth coming back here on one of the future occasions.
