Set in Aberfoyle, Macdonald Forest Hills Resort has a fitness centre. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. The resort has a terrace and a hot tub. The location is stunning, and the view from the accommodation was amazing.

Beautiful property it’s a bit of a drive to get to restaurants but the hotel has a restaurant as well as a bar (just make sure to make a reservation and check the hours) the rooms are rustic and authentically Scottish feel. What stood out the most was the hotel staff they were exceptional!

Built in 1854, this hotel was once the High School of Stirling. Less than 10 minutes’ walk from the city’s historic castle, it has an AA Rosette-awarded restaurant and free parking. location . staff accommodated late dinner request.

Set in a traditional Scottish manor house within landscaped gardens, the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel & Spa is on the outskirts of Falkirk and Grangemouth. Amazing stay, fantastic breakfast (full vegetarian), it absolutely got me,even the smallest details such as set of shower gel, shampoo etc. It smelled so great that I felt like after spa treatment within my own room. Dressing gowns, slippers, spotless. For one night I stayed there I felt like a princess, it was fabulous experience. I didn't stay in more lovely hotel yet.
