Set in Szeged, 4.2 km from Votive Church Szeged, Hotel Gerardus offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The hotel exceeded my expectations by far. Breakfast was amazing, gluten free food available (tell before check-in). Rooms are clean and tidy, very quiet and peaceful despite the location. If you have a car it is a perfect place to stay. Has minibar if you're very tired, has air conditioning (which surprisingly many places here lack). Aldi is next door in case you want to save some cash.

Beside the playroom they do several activities: like face painting, glitter tattoo, dance together, the whole hotel is family friendly, the staff kind and helpful, they have an owl mascot HUNGI who is the most adorable and fun.
