Quinta das Lágrimas has a golf driving range and a 9-hole course. the architecture and the history were amazing. the staff is very accommodating, welcoming and helpful. we were walking around the building and a staff member saw us and showed us areas we did not know existed. Everyone who works here is very kind. The grounds are gorgeous and worth the stay. There is a golf course and range as well. they have a lot of weddings here which is understandable since the place history is a great love story and the grounds are perfect.

It was very quiet, & set in a beautiful garden. I am here in early spring with only a few blooming plants, but i can imagine it will be spectacular in full bloom. Isabel was so kind & went way beyond what i would expect to be sure everything was perfect for my stay- she even called a nearby restaurant to be sure they had outdoor seating & that my dog could go along. I felt like i was staying with a friend! I will definitely be back

The staff were incredibly nice, from the reception subchef girl who had the glasses, who always had information and a helpful attitude for anything we asked, to the lady replenishing the breakfast buffet. Just a simple genuinely nice and attentive attitude throughout all the staff we encountered at this hotel!

This hotel was absolutely perfect, exactly what we needed for a relaxing couple of days during our Porto to Faro road trip. Our large corner room had panoramic views over the lake, the spa facilities included pool, sauna and hammam and were most welcome. The restaurant made excellent Portuguese cuisine and genuine cocktails. The external pool was immaculately clean and the staff both efficient and friendly.
