It is very peaceful, the staff are attentive. The beds were super comfortable. There is everything in the kitchen you need to create a lovely meal. No commercial tour can beat this, all thanks to the local staff who helped making arrangements. The hotel provides a good breakfast with wonderful views and offers 2 choices for dinner all at a reasonable price.

The place, its location and views are fabulous. Manuela went out of her way to welcome us and once again, we felt like home in our Douro valley trip. Also our dog Luna felt super relaxed in this place. We had morning rural walks with the view of Freixo de Espada a Cinta village and they enjoyed great breakfast Manuela prepared for us. Couldn't have asked for a better ending of our Douro trip.
