We especially loved the mini bar which is well curated with local snacks as souvenirs for us to take home (at a very reasonable cost). The hotel also provided a well designed map with recommendations which we relied on to plan our trip around. Saboaria Boutique Hotel Porto has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Porto. This 5-star hotel features a spa experience, with its hot tub and hammam. Loved everything - great location (walked everywhere), super room, beds and bedding were awesome, facilities are great, pool area is small but beautifully done, breakfast was fresh and made to order, and the staff - they were the icing on the cake! There were poolside acoustic concerts with wine/refreshment service 6-8pm thurs fri and sat- with super talented musicians. We loved our garden access room - it was cool and so quiet at night. Parked our car for 4 days in a local lot where we had in and out privelege - never used the car - We did not want to leave!

Situated in Chaves, 300 metres from Chaves Thermal Spa, Castelo Hotel features accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. Lovely room - amazing bathroom with backlit alabaster wall, freestanding tub, separate shower. Great staff, especially Anna at the front desk whose recommendations for restaurants and excursions were excellent. Lovely breakfast. Located right beside the castle and walking distance to everything including Roman baths and bridge..

Torel Avantgarde is set in Porto's centre, a 10-minute walk from the Douro riverside and 750 metres from the iconic Clérigos Church. The staff and the service they provided was exceptional. Beautiful setting overlooking Porto and the river.
