The hotel also provided a well designed map with recommendations which we relied on to plan our trip around. Loved everything - great location (walked everywhere), super room, beds and bedding were awesome, facilities are great, pool area is small but beautifully done, breakfast was fresh and made to order, and the staff - they were the icing on the cake! There were poolside acoustic concerts with wine/refreshment service 6-8pm thurs fri and sat- with super talented musicians. We loved our garden access room - it was cool and so quiet at night. Parked our car for 4 days in a local lot where we had in and out privelege - never used the car - We did not want to leave!

Torel Avantgarde is set in Porto's centre, a 10-minute walk from the Douro riverside and 750 metres from the iconic Clérigos Church. The staff and the service they provided was exceptional. Beautiful setting overlooking Porto and the river.

Vale de São Torcato Hotel Rural is situated in Guimarães, 4.3 km from the iconic Guimarães Castle. A gem! The room and all other facilities were great, and the staff were simply amazing. Hope to come again!
