The owners were lovely and the breakfast was big with hot & cold and savoury & sweet options offered every day. The village is super cute and perfectly located for access to all parts of the Slovak Paradise and the southern parts of the Tatras.

The hosts were super helpful: they know the area very well and are able to give up-to-date information and recommend places to go (or suggest modification to our plans) as well as the best way to get there (thus saving us valueable time we would have spent travelling). The place is surrounded by forest and there are no sounds of traffic, so we slept really well. Breakfast is tasty and when the weather is good, you can take it outside in the freh air and sun. The extra touch to our stay was that the hosts offered to give us a better room in another building at no extra cost since our stay coincided with a big group of people arriving on the same day as us and the original room we were supposed to be in was in the bigger building taken by the group. I mean, the room was still there and unoccupied, but the hosts decided to give us extra privacy which was very considerate.

Located in Spišská Nová Ves, 3 km from the Slovak Paradise National Park, Hotel Metropol features a spa centre, a restaurant and en-suite rooms with free WiFi. It was our third stay in Hotel Metropol and it is always a pleasure. Rooms are spacious, Spa centre is really nice, breakfast is good and various. Thank you for the hospitality, especially to manager Ariadna. Hope we will back soon.

Hotel Čingov Slovenský raj is located at the entrance to the famous Slovak Paradise National Park, 6 km from Spišská Nová Ves and the High Tatras National Park. Very kind people working in the hotel, the food was excellent. The pool and wellness are small, but clean and nice.
