Situated on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, Jomtien Beach is essentially an extension of Pattaya City, drawing in tourists from all corners of Thailand who are keen to enjoy its six-kilometre stretch of sandy shores. The emerald green waters are ideal for surfing and sailing, while the beachfront restaurants offer fresh seafood dishes with incredible sunset views.
Evenings at Jomtien Beach are an energetic affair, with a broad range of bars and nightclubs dotted along the shoreline. Head to Pattaya’s famous Walking Street to experience the best local nightlife. The area is home to half a kilometre of popular venues such as Club Insomnia, 808 and Candy Shop.
Jomtien Beach’s surrounding area is home to a huge variety of fun-filled water parks. Pattaya Park Beach Resort is famous for its 240-metre-high zip-line experience, while Ramayana Water Park has over 50 slides, massage parlours and a natural lake. If you want something even more adventurous, visit Dream World to try out hair-raising rides like Sky Coaster, giving passengers plenty of twists and turns as their feet dangle freely.

WAY more built up and touristy than expected.
5 March 2025
WAY more built up and touristy than expected. Jomtien is supposed to be quieter than Pattaya but I saw no evidence! If endless bars, restaurants and massage places are your thing, you’ll enjoy it. If like us you like white sand beaches, clear seas and quiet beach bars, avoid Jomtien. We won’t be returning…

Large comfortable rooms, hot shower over bath, not enough plugs for charging your things, only 2 coffee & milk sachet per day. Pool was good . Breakfast was ok, eggs all ok, toast and cereal. Butter was a bit off tasting, all in all good hotel. Value for money, in great location.

Everyone knows that people going to Jomptien Beach (Pattaya) don't go there because of the beach ..... LOL. The beach is totally unattractive, scorching hot, badly maintained and has only one purpose, that is to give the place its name. The sea water is so dangerously polluted that it is best to keep a safe distance. People go to Jomptien Beach (+ Pattaya) for ONLY ONE REASON. We all know which reason that is ..... and if u don't, well then grow up :)

Jomtien beach is a great very long beach and is easy accessible from any hotel in jomtien. The further away from Pattaya end you go to eat the cheaper and more authentic the Thai food and nicer and quiet bars. The closer you get to Dongtan beach the worse it gets. Jomtien is the best place to stay near Pattaya but still in easy reach if everything. If you stay on Jomtien soi 7 you in the right place for easy access to every where

I came to Jomtien to see someone I meet a year ago. I didn’t know where to stay I just knew I didn’t want to stay in Central Pattaya. This place is difference between night and day. I really liked this place. I liked this area so much I stayed an extra week here 😆. Now I’m in Bangkok reflecting on my trip and Jomtien was definitely the highlight of my trip.

There are lots of things to do in this area where hotel is located. This was my first trip to this part of Jomtien and I had a lot of fun. There is a lot of construction going on but it’s not a problem navigating through it.
