Amazing way to see Masai Mara. Owner Magdy was super attentive and helped organise our transport from Nairobi to the campsite within 30min notice, arranged a great safari (Thank you driver Alex) and drove us to Masai village. Food was very tasty and all staff at campsite super friendly and kind. Felt very safe and well looked after.
Very good location close to the Gate of Masai Mara NP.
Also you can ser hippos directly at the camp. Very kind stuff. They managed Safari Guide and visit of Masai village for us.
- Location inside conservatory makes it easy to spot and get close to ALL the animals during game drives - Our driver Erick was the best!
- Incredibly friendly and accommodating team (Caleb, Erick, George, Rotiken!)
- Amazing food for breakfast, lunch and dinner - this really adds to the experience
- Beautiful, luxurious and clean rooms (you can hear the animals at night)
- Incredible massages by Lenet!
- The activities offered (balloon ride, walking safari's, village visit)
Staff is very gentile and very pleasant - they are engaged with their work.
Access from the park gate is easy if you have to leave or reach not paying park access fee the route is not so good (aprox 1h to do 20km from one village to the other - no concrete route)
The place just nearby of the main gate and the village, the staff were friendly and helpfull, the safari game drive was organised very well with a good cost, the best restaurant and the best chef i think in that area, the price that i paid was superb, i really love and enjoy my holiday here, Thank you so much
Beautiful camp setting, the luxury tent was fantastic. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Our safari guide Dennis was incredible, really knowledgeable about the animals and always willing to accommodate requests for specific sightings. Overall an amazing stay would highly recommend.
The moment I contacted the property, I was really impressed by clear information given by Magdy, the general manager there. He arranged everything from there on for the 2 days we were there. The place was homely and relaxed. Magdy went out of the way to help us with anything we needed. The stay, the rooms, staff, full day safari, picnics … everything was fabulous and fun… This is the first place that I liked every detail. I hope I visit again and also do yoga retreat there… Must stay… Just go there and Magdy will handle the rest :)
We really enjoyed our stay in this camp, Magdy and the staff who are very kind and helpful, the visit to Masai village and the safaris of course.
Everything was just perfect.
Fig Tree is just mind blowing. In the middle of the Park, directly at a river with Hippos and crocodiles. On the first night we saw a Rhino mom getting out of the water with her baby, all shown with flash lights. Birds a chirping in the mornings and monkeys were running around on top of the main house - what an experience, hard to beat. The rooms are luxurious and the buffet meals are very good. Overall a fantastic experience.
