The view from the house is excellent. The location is good. Easy to go to supermarket and lake Maggiore. The owner, Ivan, is so kind that he allowed us to stay after lunch although the check out time is10:00, because it rained heavily.

The apartment was very clean and well furnished. The bedroom was cosy with a very comfortable bed. It’s self check in which worked really well. There’s free parking right outside the apartment block if you’re lucky enough to find a space, if not there’s a huge car park very close by.

Location was perfect--close to historic market, museums, sights and restaurants. Very walkable city. Loved the history and renovation of the hotel; decor was warm, welcome and hip; staff was exceptional.

What a gem it is. Very accessible off the motorway and not far down to Stressa but completely quiet and set in a lovely garden. The room was great and spotlessly clean. We had some amazing advice from our host who was delightful. The best tip was to eat in the village. Definitely the best value for money in Italy. Would highly recommend.
