Less than two weeks out from the 2024 Toyota Tacoma’s global premiere on May 19, two images have surfaced online that appear to show the new pickup truck.

The photo, which was reportedly found on Toyota’s website, was first posted in the Tacoma 4G forums. The latter also shared an image that allegedly shows a part of the Tacoma’s front fascia in real life.

The aggressive design of the Tacoma will immediately catch your eye. It is speculated that the variant pictured could be the TRD Pro variant given the muscular panels that would look a little over-the-top for the entry-level model. Among the elements that stand out include the shapely headlights with small LED DRLs, the thin LED lightbar running horizontally beneath the Toyota badge, and the sharp edges of the front bumper. A pronounced front skid plate is also visible.

Elsewhere, we can see that the 2024 Tacoma variant pictured incorporates a black hood scoop while also sporting black on the wing mirrors, pillars, and roof. It also features flared wheel arches at both the front and the rear. The completed look is very similar to renderings produced by the Tacoma4G forum earlier this month.

Toyota has already confirmed a number of the Tacoma’s important new features. For example, the TRD Pro will be equipped with Fox QS3 adjustable shocks and also come standard with rear disc brakes. Additionally, the rear leaf spring setup of the outgoing model will be ditched in favor of coil springs.

We also know that the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro will be powered by an i-Force Max hybrid powertrain, though it’s unclear if it will be based around a 2.4-liter turbocharged four or the Tundra TRD Pro’s 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6.
