Jenny Cheng works in a global investment bank and is responsible for developing strategy and coordinating execution of the firm’s marketing, content and brand initiatives for Asia Pacific.

Jenny is passionate about the intersection of sustainability and finance, and believes that youth education is the foundation to a just climate transition. She joined CarbonCare InnoLab’s Climate Advocacy Training for Youth program with an aim to deepen her understanding of climate advocacy and hope to further contribute to Hong Kong’s climate education for youth and strengthening of the community’s climate resilience.

Jenny is originally from Taipei, Taiwan and moved to Hong Kong for her university studies. She holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and double majored in Marketing and Information Systems. Jenny is a Certified ESG Analyst and holds a CFA in ESG Investing.

Prudence is a final-year Politics and Laws student at the University of Hong Kong. She has a keen interest in climate change education, youth empowerment, and ESG. She actively explores how public-private partnerships could accelerate sustainable development.

She has gained valuable experience through internships in the business sector, NGOs, and the United Nations, where she has engaged in environmental policy and research, partnership coordination, and ESG projects implementation. Her climate advocacy journey began at CarbonCare InnoLab. As co-founder of EarthWise, a climate advocacy project focused on climate education for youth in Hong Kong, and a facilitator at LCOY, she has honed her skills in youth empowerment and cross-sector collaboration.

Prudence's goals on climate action are to advocate for mandatory, behavioral climate change education in Hong Kong. She is also dedicated to connecting like-minded individuals, local NGOs, and corporates to catalyze collaborative climate action.

Marco works in a global investment bank and is responsible for the development and origination of green, social and sustainable financial products for corporations, financial institutions and sovereign, supranational, and agencies.

Marco is dedicated to driving positive sustainable impact. He believes a robust sustainable finance system and architecture would play a pivotal role to encourage climate and nature action and to reinforce long-term value creation and economic growth. To enhance his knowledge of climate advocacy, he participated in the Climate Advocacy Training for Youth program at CarbonCare InnoLab. Through his experience, he aims to contribute more to the adequate provision and effective mobilization of international climate finance, as well as to promote sustainable finance discussions among youths.

Marco holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental management and technology from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is a Certified ESG Analyst, Associate Green Finance Professional of the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers, and a certificate holder of CFA ESG Investing and GARP Sustainability and Climate Risk.

Oscar is a final-year student at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University majoring in Engineering Physics, he would like to pursue further studies in the field of energy after graduation. He is interested in the use of green energy and the possibilities of urban parks as a nature-based solution to climate change. Despite his scientific background, he is passionate about educating people about climate change and how they can combat it. He believes everyone can make a change to the environment simply through their daily lives such as recycling, promoting eco-friendly tips to their social groups, and visiting parks more often.

Stanley Ying (“Stan”) is passionate about advocating for sustainability and technological innovations. Professionally, he serves as a consultant in the financial sector, with prior experience as a product manager in Generative AI.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Stan is dedicated to driving social impact. As a co-founder of Climate Solutions Labs, he spearheads initiatives and workshops that promote the discussion and adoption of technology to address various climate issues. Additionally, he serves as the Vice President of the St. Gallen Symposium Hong Kong Chapter, where he has helped introduce the flagship Hong Kong forum focusing on sustainability technology and regional collaborations.

Stan is honoured to hold the title of Professor Charles K. Kao Scholar and has been recognised as a “Leader of Tomorrow” at the 52nd St. Gallen Symposium, as well as “Outstanding Financial Technologist of the Year” by the Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia. He is also a charterholder of CESGA, PMP, and FRM.

Alfred is a member of Hong Kong Youth for Climate Action, a platform empowering young people in Hong Kong to address climate issues. He actively contributes to sustainable finance and environmental policy work. Alfred believes that only through collaboration can we effectively tackle climate change and transform it into opportunities.

She is an UNFCCC COP Observer representing CarbonCare InnoLab and has been the lecturer for CATY (Climate Advocacy Training for Youth) organised by CarbonCare InnoLab, incubating youth in international climate affairs. Kylie has also been working in the SolarCare Programme of CarbonCare InnoLab, which aims to drive the energy just transition in Hong Kong. Her focus is on facilitating connections between NGOs, officials, and the community to install Solar PV systems and implement climate education programs throughout Hong Kong.

She currently serves as a member of the UNFCCC Women and Gender Constituency and represents the YOUNGO Women and Gender Working Group at COP29. Additionally, she is a member of SHE Changes Climate Partners, actively contributing to strategic planning initiatives aimed at empowering women and fostering global climate solutions. Her role involves participating in the negotiation process as an NGO observer during UNFCCC COPs on behalf of the CarbonCare InnoLab. She contributes to the responsibilities of the Constituency by sharing and exchanging ideas, experiences, and perspectives on gender equality and women's rights within the UNFCCC framework.

In her climate action endeavours, she prioritises key areas such as energy just transition, climate justice, and youth empowerment with women and gender lenses. Kylie majored in Political Philosophy and Public Administration Management.

Fun is an environmental policy specialist with a Master's degree in Social Policy. She has gained extensive experience in research and knowledge transfer through her management of diverse research projects and academic activities during her tenure at multiple universities. Her research focus is primarily on climate change policy, particularly energy policy.

Prior to joining CCIL in 2023, Fun graduated from the inaugural Climate Advocacy Training for Youth (CATY) programme. Her strong passion for climate advocacy led to her selection as one of the youth delegates to COP26 as an Observer. Currently, her main focus is on the CATY programme. Through sharing her experience and knowledge, she aims to empower Hong Kong's youth as climate advocates and promote climate justice.
