Qualification
- Four years Bachelor’s Degree in (a) Mechanical/Electrical / Electronics Engineering
- Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician/Wireman/Mechanic (HT, LT Equipment and Cable Jointing) Electronics Mechanic OR Matriculation/ SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.
- Four years Bachelor’s Degree in (a) Civil Engineering
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
- 10th pass from a recognised board
Age Limit
- 18 to 36 years.
- The lower age limit is standard for all the notified posts. The upper age limit has been increased from 33 to 36 to provide relief to many candidates who may have exceeded the age limit due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The age shall be reckoned as on 01/08/2024.

- Technician-III (Mechanical) – 19900

Examination Fee
Candidates applying for the posts in this notification have to pay the prescribed examination fee of Rs. 885/- (Applicable fee of Rs. 750/- + GST @ 18%, i.e., Rs. 135/-) + payment of gateway charges, if any, for each examination. For the candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman, Female, Minorities or Economically
backward class (EBC), and PwBD categories, the fee shall be refunded to the candidates duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing in CBT.
How to Apply
- Multiple posts in various PML, their details, and other requirements have been indicated in para (2) & (3) of this notification. Candidates can apply for multiple posts based on their educational qualifications. Candidates are required to indicate their post-wise preference very carefully.
- Once exercised in the ONLINE application, options shall be final, and no request for change
shall be entertained. Therefore, candidates are advised to exercise the option for post(s) carefully. KRCL will allot only one post to the selected candidate as per the preference of the candidate, subject to merit, vacancy position, and qualifying the various stages of the selection process. - Candidates are permitted to apply for only one post from Technician-III/Electrical and Technician-III/Mechanical.
