Daniel Wroclawski is a home and appliances writer at Consumer Reports. He works with CR’s test engineers and market analysts to produce online and print articles covering a variety of home products—from traditional appliances, such as refrigerators, to cutting-edge smart home devices. Daniel also helped CR produce its first ratings of smart home products, including video doorbells and smart thermostats. Prior to joining CR, he worked as an editor for Reviewed and USA Today, where he oversaw the production of smart home device reviews. Daniel holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from Boston University and Columbia University, respectively.
IN THEIR OWN WORDS:
“Having CR’s product ratings app on the phone in my pocket has completely changed the way I shop. Whether I’m buying a big-ticket item like a new TV or a cheap incidental like laundry detergent, it’s made me more confident in the purchases I make.”
