Overview

There are five recognized universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain; in alphabetical order they are:

  1. Ahlia University
  2. Arabian Gulf University
  3. University of Bahrain
  4. The Kingdom University
  5. The Royal University for Women
None of these institutions seems to have a flag of its own; however, the Bahreini flag icons which turn up on Google searches using the name of the institution and 'flags' reveals a bewildering array of allegedly Bahraini flags. No two of them seem to have the same number of white/red indentations, and some don't even bother to show any indentations at all, leaving flag icons which look like the Portuguese flag (i e, same color proportions) except that the colors are white and red with no device in the center.
