Description of the flag

The flag of the Town of Hanover, Ontario, is vertically divided in three fields - green-white-green, with town emblem on the white field. "The flag design is taken from the Town of Hanover coat of arms. The crest represents the Torch of Progress, (industry, progress, recreation)."
