Shield Argent, an impending unicorn's torso Gules, issuant from base a triplemount Vert, chief Azure charged with a sword Or and a key or in saltire.
Meaning:
The triplemount is symbolising the location on the high banks of the Lech River. The torso is a differentiation of the personal arms of Benedikt Pacher, Abbot of Ettal between 1739 and 1759. Sword and key are the attributes of St. Paul and St. Peter, local patron saints of the parish church of the former Ludenhausen municipality, which was incorporated into Reichling on 1 January 1972. They are also representing this former village. Torso and triplemount had already been elements of the former arms of Reichling, adopted in 1969. The chief displayed three balls in the chief as attribute of the local patron saint St. Nicholas. The local council decided to change the arms in 1974, in order to embed an element, representing Ludenhausen.

The arms were approved on 4 March 1969 by Minister of Interior of Bayern and confirmed with the banner on 28 June 1974 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Oberbayern.
