Scheinfeld Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale; at dexter parted per fess, above Or an eagle issuant Sable tongued Gules, beneath paly of seven of Azure and Argent; at sinister Gules, on top of a triplemount Sable an embattled tower Argent.
Meaning:
In 1405 Scheinfeld gained city rights. Since then the city arms displayed in a red shield two silver towers on a black triplemount. Since 1598 the differentiated imperial eagle was added. Scheinfeld had been the capital of the Lordship of Schwarzenberg. The paly field and the black triplemount are taken from the arms of the Counts of Schwarzenberg.

The arms were granted on 13 May 1598 by German Emperor Rudolf II. The flag is in use at least since 1968.
