The embroidery ceremonial flag has purple background with a gold-colored emblem in the center and gold-colored fringe. The university name appears in gold along the hoist of the flag.
The university emblem is a design of the constellation Leo and the corona of the sun. The majesty of the constellation Leo shining in the night sky on May 31, the date of the university's foundation, and the brilliance of the sun were superimposed on the departure of the university. The design of the constellation Leo, which has long been sung and widely loved in the student song "Wakakusa mo yuru," was recognized as the official university emblem on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the university's founding in 2009.
