Blazon: Azure a sea-ram argent and a bezant and in base sable
a sword argent blade wavy pointed to sinister.

Zarasai - On a blue field a silver imaginary creature, partly
stag, partly fish, above a golden orb, on a black base a silver
wavy sword. Flag proportions 10:13, fringe is silver, finial is a
golden paddle with a ring and silver bands. The creature
symbolizes rich forests and lakes, the orb means the sun, and the
sword symbolizes both historical battles and justice.
