"The Philippine Olympic Committee Inc. (POC) was first established in 1911 as
the Philippine Amateur Athletic Federation (PAAF). In 1975 the PAAF was renamed
to Philippine Olympic Committee after the establishment of the Department of
Youth and Sports Development which effectively abolished the former"

There was an update to the POC logo, and thus, an update to their flag. Not much information was given about the logo change, other than it happened around December 2018. A 2020 press conference shows the logo in detail on a white background.
