Description of the flag

Sudlersville is a town in Queen Anne's County, Maryland, incorporated in 1870. With a population of just under 500 in 2010, the town is named after the Sudler family that purchased the 800 acres in 1740 that eventually became the nucleus of the present-day town.

The flag of Sudlersville can be seen in a photograph at the 2012 Maryland Municipal League parade of flags. The flag consists of the town seal centered on a light blue field. The circular seal contains several scenes representing the town and its history, including what appears to be a schoolhouse, a farmhouse, and a railroad station. The scenes are surrounded by a white ring, fimbriated black. Across the top of the ring, in black capital letters, is the word "SUDLERSVILLE" with "MARYLAND" across the bottom in similar letters, along with "INC" and "1870" on the sides.
