Bigfoot hunters found dead in monster's backyard after setting off on Christmas trek
The men from Portland, Oregon, aged 37 and 59, were reportedly on a mission to find Bigfoot, when they encountered snowy weather, sparking a frantic search over the Christmas period
Two men were found dead in a forest after they set off on a quest to find Bigfoot.
The pair, aged 37 and 59 and from Portland, Oregon, were found in Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Washington State, according to authorities. The victims had told relatives they would return from their trek on Christmas Eve, but were reported missing around 1am on Christmas Day, prompting a three-day search. The effort to find them involved 60 volunteers and rescue experts who used dogs and drones to try.
Their cause of death appears to be because of "exposure, based on weather conditions and ill-preparedness," Skamania County Sheriff's office said.
The men were reportedly hit by bad weather conditions, with their bodies found eventually after the search area was narrowed down when CCTV footage led a search party to their vehicle.
Authorities said the duo were in danger because they were searching for “Sasquatch”, the mythical ape-like beast that has inspired conspiracy theorists for centuries.
A leading expert recently claimed Bigfoot is a paranormal inter-dimensional creature not of this world.
UFO expert Mark Christopher Lee, who has made several documentaries about the existence of alien life, said from his research that the Sasquatch is actually a type of extra-terrestrial that can travel through different dimensions.
He said: “There’s plenty of evidence that people have encountered Sasquatch, Yeti, whatever you want to call them, all around the world, although the Northwest of America seems to be the hotspot.
“They have this ephemeral periods where they’re seen and then not seen, they disappear. Where do they live? Why have no bodies ever been found? No bones or anything. No one has found anything. So there is this theory that these are inter dimensional.”
