Cup and Mug Design Brief

DESIGN USE
This is not for a business, it's for a (thoughtful) gift to my father. The design is going to be on a personalised beer can, so it will be a cylindrical shape. Basically, I'm giving him a few six-packs with his own beer label. I've attached the copy and put design specs below.
RATIONALE
My Dad is a cool guy, one of life’s absolute gems. He’s not a big drinker, but he likes a beer and he’s more likely to give them away at Christmas time than keep them in the fridge and drink them himself.
He’s also a master of Dad Jokes and offering pearls of wisdom, so combining a good beer with a funny Dad Joke or two on a can will be a great gift to give him for his birthday, Father’s Day or Christmas.
PLACEMENT
The front of the can needs to be my Dad’s head in cartoon form and LYNTON’S LAGER has to be the most prominent wording.
While LYNTON’S LAGER is the main heading…I’d like A CASHMERE VIEW BREW up the top and LYNTON’S LAGER IS LIFE’S BEER NECESSITY as the key wording wrapping around the bottom of the can.
I'd also like these sayings/jokes included (all of them OR as many that look cool and don't make the design too crowded):
“A beer in each hand is a balanced diet,” - Lynton

“This beer tastes like I’m not going to work tomorrow,” - Lynton

“Your beer isn’t half-full…it’s halfway to your next brew,” - Lynton

“My doc says I shouldn’t drink every day…that’s why I tend to drink at night,” - Lynton

“Two beer or not two beer,” - Shakesbeer

DESIGN
Use the photos as a guide to turn my Dad (Lynton) into a cartoon - smiling/grinning, upbeat and happy. Not too old looking!
In terms of the can’s design, this is where I want YOU to be a design maestro. His head could burst through LYNTON’S LAGER or simply have the lettering wrapped around his image.
Are the quotes and jokes in speech bubbles? Or are they in beer bubbles? Is a smaller version of Dad’s head used as a bullet point by each quote or joke?
FONT
Your choice! It just needs to be easy to read or and not too old-fashioned or - at the other extreme - too futuristic.
COLOUR
Your choice! He’s from a province that has red and black as their core colours, but if that doesn’t work, please go with a light teal/blue - or some other semi-masculine colour - and a dark colouring for the wording/lettering.
FORMAT
The approved copy needs to be provided as a PDF and a jpeg.
