Our emergency valves provide flow control at the bottom of tank truck compartments in the event of an accident.
All EMCO Wheaton designs are made from high-quality materials and incorporate solid design principles to maximize safety. Many of the oil industry’s most recognisable names depend on products in the F7000 series each day, acknowledging their durability and performance even after heavy repeat use.
Other key features include:
- Lightweight aluminium construction
- Diecast body and quality component materials for durability
- High lift poppet for maximum flow
- External shear groove meets TMMA and NTTC DOT 406 to limit product spillage in the event of an accident
- Double O-ring seals on camshaft for improved sealing and easy maintenance
- Removable bonnet assembly that allows seal change without removing the valve from the truck
- Screen filter fitted as standard on 4” range to prevent seal damage
- Viton seals are standard for compatibility with high-octane fuels and additives

The GS version is designed to prevent tampering with pneumatic sequence signal. The sequence cannot be bypassed and only provides ‘open signal’ if the valve is in an open state. Please contact EMCO Wheaton for more details.
