It looks like Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom are going full throttle on their relationship.
In fact, fans are wondering if Justin has popped the question after he and Nicole stepped onto the Venice Film Festival carpet August 28, Nicole rocking a sizable ring on that finger.
The couple also looked rather matrimonial in matching white outfits for the premiere of Justin’s new film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, with the 53-year-old completing the look with black slacks and matching boots, letting his white suit jacket and collar-less button-down do the talking. Nicole meanwhile, wore an elegant white sleeveless gown with a high neck and low back from Akris.
The 29-year-old styled her hair in a simple updo, keeping her jewelry minimal and chic save for the stunning, custom Stephanie Gottlieb 4-carat diamond ring—compete with an 18 carat yellow gold inlay—on her left hand.
The engagement speculation comes almost exactly a year after Justin and the Gilded Age actress first sparked romance rumors with a PDA-filled dinner in New York City.
They then confirmed their romance at the Vanity Fair annual Oscars party, making their red carpet debut as a couple March 10. Much like their Venice Film Festival outing, Justin and Nicole also coordinated their looks in matching black for the Academy Awards bash.
But while the duo have stepped out together, they’ve otherwise kept their relationship very under wraps.
After all, Justin understands what living life in the public eye means when it comes to relationships: his two-year marriage to Jennifer Aniston was often under a microscope before their split in 2017.
As The Leftovers alum told Esquire in May 2023, “Having been in a public relationship, it's much more fun not being in a public relationship. Me saying anything, even if it was something loving, it would just turn into a thing. So it's a classic no-comment situation for me."
And that tight-lipped quality is something he applies to all romances in his life—both past and present.
“There's something to, once you're out of that, where I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we're in,” Justin—whose relationship with the Friends star spanned 6 years in total—further explained. “And I'm not trying to be evasive, but I talk to Jen—I don't talk about Jen."
