Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer has been married to longtime love Corey Simms since October, but she's finally getting around to showing off her wedding pics.
The young duo, parents to 15-month-old twins Aliannah and Aleeah, wed in Charleston, W.Va.'s Coonskin Park. And, by the looks of the photos and their remarks in the new issue of Us Weekly, the hitching went off without a hitch—despite their well-documented history of drama.
In one black-and-white picture, Leah, 18, is beaming as she holds hands with Corey, 20. She is dressed in a $1,549 gown by Maggie Sottero, which she was seen purchasing—with the help of her mom—at a discount in an earlier episode of Teen Mom 2.
"I felt really pretty in it," Leah told the magazine.
"She took my breath away," Corey said. "I got so emotional when I saw her."
The new dad and husband, a water-distribution operator who labels himself a "redneck," wore a tux from Perry Ellis with a camouflage vest and tie. The pair showed off their rings, Leah's a white-gold band and Corey's a titanium camouflage-patterned band engraved with "forever and always."
The controversial MTV reality show couple is featured on the cover of Us Weekly, where each poses with one of their adorable twins.
Leah, a former small-town cheerleader, is dealing with the heartache of watching one of her twin girls develop more slowly than the other. She graduated from high school and has had an admittedly rocky relationship with Corey.
Just this month, rumors surfaced that they were divorcing, but Leah took to Twitter to deny the claims and brush off another magazine article that claimed the duo was breaking up.
"Just for the record, Corey and I are NOT divorcing!" Leah tweeted.
And just like that, we have their glowing magazine cover. Coincidence?
