Engagement
EQT created the position of Local Government and Community Affairs Specialist to provide a local, personalized point of contact for elected officials, business owners and residents interested in our operational activities. The Local Government and Community Affairs Specialists are located in or near their assigned geographic areas and serve as facilitators to help build relationships with local officials, business leaders, emergency responders, and residents who want to interact with the company. With our values at the forefront of all we do, EQT is dedicated to instilling trust, teamwork and heart in all of our community engagement efforts and we support our communities in a variety of ways. Through public engagement, education, corporate giving, and volunteerism, we aim to uphold our reputation as a responsible natural gas company and operate in a manner that is responsive to the needs and concerns of our local communities.
We currently have Local Government and Community Affairs Specialists assigned our core Marcellus Shale and Utica Shale operating areas. Meet the team below and we look forward to hearing from you!

Sponsorships
EQT contributes thousands of dollars each year to sponsor fairs, festivals and other local community events in counties where we have regional offices or active field operations. These opportunities allow EQT to financially support regional gatherings; allow our neighbors to meet our employees, ask questions or offer comments on topics that are most important to them; and receive immediate feedback.
Local Giving
Across our three-state footprint, EQT contributes to local fire departments, food banks, senior centers and other community-based projects or charities. These donations are geographically limited to areas with active drilling, completion or production activity.
4-H/FFA Support
In mid-2019, EQT started a new program to support the efforts of local 4-H/FFA groups across our operating area. This allows us to support the hard work and dedication of regional youth involved in agricultural programs while simultaneously giving back to local charities.
Volunteering
EQT employees are encouraged to participate and volunteer with local nonprofit organizations that allow them to provide goodwill in communities across our operating area. Volunteer opportunities can be cultivated by our individual employees or facilitated by the company.
