GIVE Campaign
EQT leaseholders are the true backbone of our company. In a new and unique collaboration, EQT has created GIVE Funds across our footprint in partnership with local community foundations and our leaseholders, which foster the act of philanthropy and lasting impacts for the communities that mean so much to all of us.
The EQT GIVE Campaigns are funds established strategically with Community Foundations throughout our company’s footprint. The intent of these funds is to connect EQT landowners with local organizations and maximize the generous gifts they are already making. The EQT Foundation will contribute $25,000 annually to each GIVE fund, as well as match landowner contributions to the funds up to $10,000 per lease agreement for the first year of participation. For donations to qualify, they must be more than $100 in aggregate. The corresponding Community Foundation will be responsible for additional fundraising and maintenance of the funds.
The hope is for the endowed funds to grow to allow for continual financial support for nonprofits, schools, municipalities and the like, for years to come.

How It Started
The GIVE Campaign was modeled after a similar initiative that launched in Belmont County (OH) in 2013, where a group of landowners gathered their financial support gained through signing a gas lease with (then) Rice Energy. The fund has grown over the years and now awards nearly $40,000 annually to help support community programs in that area.

Decide how you would like to give
- Make a flat donation via personal check, stock transfer or credit card directly to the Community Foundation GIVE fund of your choice.
- Allow EQT Production Company and/or its affiliates (EQT) to withhold a certain amount or percentage of your monthly royalties (e.g., 1%) to be donated on your behalf to the GIVE fund for the county(ies) in which the wells for which you receive royalties from EQT are located. EQT will withhold such amounts, provide you with proper documentation, and, on a monthly basis, transfer such withheld amounts to the applicable GIVE fund(s).
