Where to find the Imbued Sword Key in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree
Here's where to find this important key to activate the Shadow Realm's teleporter.
Imbued Sword Keys are an item in Elden Ring that let you activate special teleporters to travel to otherwise inaccessible parts of the map. In Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, there's just one Imbued Sword Key to find in the Shadow Realm, and we're here to help you locate it.
Below, we'll tell you exactly where to find Shadow of the Erdtree's Imbued Sword Key location, as well as how to get there, and where you need to go to use it.
Where to find the Imbued Sword Key in Shadow of the Erdtree
You'll find Shadow of the Erdtree's Imbued Sword Key inside Castle Ensis in Gravesite Plain. To see its exact location, have a look at the map below:
You'll need to beat Moonrithyll Carian Knight in the chapel just after the midway point in this dungeon to reach it, and you'll also need to open the iron gate leading out onto the rampart walls.
After you've dealt with the Messmer Soldiers and climbed the rickety wooden stairs, you'll find the Imbued Sword Key in a chest inside a small storeroom before you face the Black Knight guarding the next area.
Where to use the Imbued Sword Key in Shadow of the Erdtree
Now that you've got the Imbued Sword Key, you'll need to find its corresponding teleporter in Shadow of the Erdtree. Thankfully, there's just one of these as well, and it's located right outside the exit of Castle Ensis in Scadu Altus.
You'll see it immediately to your left as you come out of Castle Ensis after beating its boss, Rellana, Twin Moon Knight, directly west of the Site of Grace 'Highroad Cross' (which is also a Miquella's Cross location).
Alternatively, if you end up needing to skip the Rellana fight and get to Scadu Altus via its hidden back route, then you'll need to ride north from the Fort of Reprimand until you reach Moorth Ruins, then head east from there.
