Nintendo Switch Price, System Specs, and Launch Lineup Coming in January [UPDATE]
Nintendo to broadcast a presentation dedicated to the new console early next year.
[UPDATE] Nintendo has now confirmed it will announce the Nintendo Switch's price, game lineup, system specs, and "other details" during the event. Nintendo said it doesn't plan to announcement any additional information about the Nintendo Switch until the January event.
Nintendo also confirmed that it will hold hands-on experiences as early as January for the Nintendo Switch in Japan, the US, Europe, and Australia.

Nintendo announced today that it will reveal more details about the Nintendo Switch console during a presentation dedicated to the hybrid console on January 12, 2017.
The company did not specify what it will share during the event, though some possibilities include the console's price and launch lineup. Last week, a report claimed Nintendo would announce the Switch's price and system specifications in 2017.

The Nintendo Switch console was officially revealed last week. Formerly known as the Nintendo NX, the Nintendo Switch is a hybrid console that supports gaming at home and on the go.
Earlier today, Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima revealed that Nintendo expects to ship 2 million Nintendo Switch units during the console's launch month of March 2017. He also reiterated that the Nintendo Switch system will not be sold at a loss as some consoles are.
