Adam Brooks has hit out at the BBC after they dropped a TV special celebrating Irish singer Róisín Murphy’s career, following her comments on puberty blockers.
Speaking on Dan Wootton Tonight, the businessman and activist weighed in on the broadcaster’s decision to cut the show, after Murphy called puberty blockers ‘absolutely desolate’.
Adam said: “Let's be honest, 99% of the public think what Róisín Murphy thinks or said on her private Facebook. It is my view that there aren't such a thing as trans kids.
“There's very confused kids that are being pushed into things by parents and teachers and society into something they do not understand and could regret, probably will regret for the rest of their lives.”
Brooks continued: “It's one big agenda. We're seeing Hollywood celebrities, a-list celebrities parading their trans kids around like they're the new sort of fashion accessory. This is unbelievable for, you know, trans of say less than 1% of the population.
“Yet we're seeing trans everywhere in the media, in adverts, in our schools. It's an agenda that someone somewhere or organisations are pushing, and the poor kids are being so confused, and they're being pressured.
“It's become a trend to be trans or to support this trans movement.”
