Present Chief Minister of Goa – Pramod Sawant
Pramod Sawant is serving as the eleventh chief minister of Goa. He became the CM of Goa for two terms. The first term he served from 19 March 2019 to 28 March 2022 and for the second term from 28 March 2022 to the Present. He became the CM after the death of the previous Chief Minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar. He was born on 24 April 1973. He has a bachelor's degree in (BAMS) Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery from Ganga Education Society's Ayurvedic Medical College in Kolhapur and has a master's degree in (MSW) Master of Social Work from Tilak Maharashtra University in Pune.
In his ministerial function, he focused on infrastructure development, including roads, bridges, and irrigation projects. Implementing schemes for social welfare and poverty alleviation. Promoting tourism and the hospitality industry. Handling the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. His government works on problems like infrastructure, promoting Tourism and social welfare schemes.

Pratap Singh Rane was the first chief minister of Goa. Pratapsingh Rane is a veteran Indian politician who has dominated the politics of Goa for over five decades. He was born on 28 January 1939. He became the chief minister of Goa on 30 May 1987. He studied at Shri Shivaji Preparatory Military School, Pune, This pre-independence military school, was established in 1938. He has a bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Texas A&M University, USA After completing his schooling in Pune, Rane travelled to the United States to pursue higher education.
