Oppo Find N5 to Launch Before Find Oppo X8 Ultra

As 2024 nears its end, Oppo is gearing up for a busy start to 2025. The global launch of the Reno 13 series is on the horizon, while the Chinese market is expected to witness the release of several exciting devices, including the Oppo Find N5, Find X8 Ultra, and Find X8 Mini.

Oppo Find N5 Will Update its Foldable Smartphone Lineup Soon

Zhou Yibao, Oppo’s Find Product Manager, recently addressed a question on Weibo regarding the release timeline for upcoming devices. When asked if the Find X8 Ultra would launch in January, Zhou clarified that Oppo plans to first release the Find N5 foldable phone.

He assured fans that the Find X8 Ultra would follow shortly after and emphasized that both models would offer impressive features. Interestingly, Zhou made no mention of the Find X8 Mini, which is rumored to have the smallest display in the X8 lineup. It’s speculated that the X8 Mini will debut alongside the X8 Ultra or within a few weeks of its launch.

Oppo Find N5

Tipster Smart Pikachu has shared exciting news about Oppo’s upcoming Find N5 foldable phone. The phone is said to have a big, foldable screen with 2K+ resolution, giving users amazing picture quality. It might also be the first foldable phone to use the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

For those who love taking photos, the Find N5 will feature a 50-megapixel Sony triple camera setup. This includes a special periscope lens that allows better zooming for close-up shots. The phone is expected to be thinner and lighter than the previous model, the Find N3. It will also be stronger and water-resistant, making it more durable.

These details match earlier leaks, confirming the phone will be a top-notch foldable device. The Find N5 is likely to launch in China after the Chinese New Year in February 2025. For international buyers, it might be sold as the OnePlus Open 2.
