Hyundai Inster EV Design Highlights

The Hyundai Inster EV has been unveiled at the Busan International Mobility Show. In terms of looks, this compact e-SUV features a design similar to the Casper ICE model available in the global markets. The Inster EV’s fascia includes round LED DRLs which gives them a distinctive and aggressive look overall. The blanked-off grille and a pill-shaped charging port slot completes the front profile.

The Inster EV comes with C-pillar mounted rear door handles. The large windows and functional roof rail makes it more practial. The compact e-SUV additionally features square-shaped wheel arches and feature a large 17-inch wheel profile. Inside the cabin, the Inster EV includes dual 10.25-inch infotainment screen and driver’s display. It has a multi-functional steering wheel and a drive selector dial.

Hyundai Inster EV comes with dual battery options. There is a smaller 42 kWh battery variant and a bigger 49 kWh battery model. Hyundai will be shipping the Inster EV with a 120 kW fast DC charger which will charge the EV from 10-80 percent in just 30 minutes. Skoda Entry Level EV Testing Begins: How Does It Look?

The upcoming Skoda entry-level EV also happens to be the smallest electric vehicle model from the company. Called the Skoda Elroq, the first concept of the entry-level compact EV was first revealed ;last year. The test mule spotted this time seems to be near production-ready unit with a similar design as showcased with the concept model.

The test mule of the alleged Skoda Elroq EV doing test runs overseas is snapped with camouflage covers. But the key design aspects of the fascia and the rear have ben revealed. The upcoming entry-level Skoda EV’s test mule is snapped with split headlamp design. The grille isn’t clearly visible but is closed-off with vertical air vents.

The rear profile of the new Skoda compact EV sports a similar tail lamp design as the Kushaq. It is also said to feature LED tail lamps and connected LED light bar. The rear profile also includes a spoiler, wipers, and stomp lamp likely with washer feature. The entry-level Skoda EV’s test mule is seen with prominent wheel arches with drag-resistant alloy wheel design. While it is said to be the smallest Skoda EV, its overall length is said to be longer than the Kushaq at around 4.5 meters.

Upcoming Entry Level Skoda EV Expected Powertrain

The Skoda entry-level EV might be built on the MEB platform and borrow some components from the Enyaq and similar high-end models. It could come with a RWD (rear wheel drive) drivetrain with the motor pack mounted on the rear axle. It might get a 62 kWh battery with up to 400 km range delivery. More details are expected to be announced by the brand soon.

The latest sightings of the Kinetic electric scooter gives clues about the design. While not much is revealed, the upcoming e-scooter seems to flaunt a rather modern and a trendy design language instead of a subtle theme. Again the test mule snapped is with heavy camouflage taping but the LED headlamp can be seen on the lower half of the front panel.

The upcoming Kinetic electric scooter can also been seen with a single-piece seat which will be offering ample cushioning for a comfortable ride in the heavy city traffic. It appears that the mystery Kinetic electric scooter sits on big 12-inch alloy wheels painted in black.

The test mule is seen with a disc and drum braking system combination with the former being used for the front and the latter for the rear. The e-scooter seems to get a flat front floorboard with ample leg space. A TFT screen is also visible which is expected to come with Bluetooth compatibility It might display all important ride and battery stats.

Upcoming Kinetic Electric Scooter Expected Powertrain

The upcoming Kinetic electric scooter will use a hub motor linked to a unspecified battery size. We are expecting the battery, range, and performance metrics to be revealed via leaks going forward. However, the test mule is reportedly spotted doing a test run with a speed range of up to 50 kmph.

Whether this is the max speed or not is difficult to asses yet. Online reports also suggests that the new Kinetic electric scooter might offer up to 100 km range with the hub mounted electric motor. But we should wait for the brand for further clarification on the same.

Tata Harrier EV has been tipped to be introduced with a single motor RWD and dual motor AWD powertrain options. The latest test mule whose images have popped up online is said to be of the AWD model. Spotted at somewhere around Leh Ladakh, the Harrier EV’s leaked test mule image shows the motor setup mounted at the rear axle.

While the front motor images have not been snapped, it is highly likely that this variant is indeed the AWD variant. It is also a possibility that the company is testing the upcoming e-SUVs performance in rugged and tough terrains.

Besides the motor setup, the Harrier EV AWD model is snapped sporting the same masculine and rugged profile as the ICE variant and the test mules that have been spotted recently. The independent rear suspension module is also visible in the latest Harrier EV spy shots.

Tata Harrier EV: Details Previously Revealed

2025 Mini Countrymen EV Pre-Bookings India: Details

Mini India has started taking pre-bookings for the upcoming 2025 Countryman electric in the country. The bookings are active on the company’s official India website. Mini will likely announce the launch date soon. However, rumors indicate at an imminent launch (possibly within next few weeks). We might see some developments across its arrival by next month.

Currently, Mini is maintaining all silence with the Countrymen EV’s expected pricing in the country. But it is expected to be imported via CBU route in the country. This raises the possibility of the Countrymen EV to carry an expensive price label. Some reports hints at a price range of around Rs. 70 lakh (ex showroom).

However, the exact pricing will only be confirmed once the Countryman electric is made official in India. With the suggested price range, we can expect the Mini Countryman EV to go up against the likes of Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV 6, and the Volvo XC 40 Recharge in India.

2025 Mini Countryman Design And Powertrain: What To Expect?

The 2025 Mini Countryman will feature a design theme based on the Mini Cooper but with some notable upgrades. The latest EV model will come with signature LED DRL headlamps and an all-new octagonal-shaped grille. The rear profile will also offer subtle upgrades and will include a re-designed taillamp.

The Mini Countryman EV will also borrow a few features from the Mini Cooper and will integrate a 9.5-inch OLED infotainment screen in the dashboard. It will also offer Level 2 ADAS safety and an electronically adjustable driver seat.

Speaking of the powertrain, the Mini Countryman is said to be introduced in two different trim options both of which will be backed by a 66.54 kWh battery. The Countryman’s motor pack will be capable of delivering 201 bhp of peak power and a peak torque of 250 Nm.

E-Challan For A Bike Helps Nabbing Its Thief In Thane: Here’s What Happened?

Online traffic challan system is the latest approach which has been opted by traffic police all across India. Besides being a convenient method of imposing traffic fines to the defaulters, this system has also helped with easy traffic management. However, in a rather bizarre incident, an e-challan led to the arrest of the thief of a two-wheeler scooter in Thane, Mumbai. Here’s what happened:

How An E-Challan Saved A Scooter From Theft

A traffic fine/ e-challan was reportedly issued to a two-wheeler scooter owner in Thane. As per the reports, the challan was issued for the offence of driving the scooter without helmet. When e-challan sent to the original scooty owner for driving without helmet, he immediately reported to the authorities about the theft. Notably, the scooter owner is a resident of Dombivili who had contacted the same police station where the report for the stolen scooter was filed.

Further reports indicate that acting swiftly on the theft report, a unit of Thane traffic (Kasarvadavli unit) police that were stationed at the Nagla Bunder took the matter into immediate hands. Within just two hours of time, the special unit were able to track down the stolen two wheeler and catch the suspect.

Further Breakdown Of The Case

Apparently, the scooter whose e-challan helped the official nab the thief was stolen back in 2023. The scooter had the registration number MH 48 BU 2617 for which the challan for driving without helmet was issued. The owner had filed the missing scooter report at the Manpada police station in Dombivli area. Whereas the thief and the scooter later recovered from Thane.

A man was arrested in Thane after police traced a stolen scooter through an e-challan issued for a traffic violation. The traffic police issued a fine as the rider was not wearing a helmet, and the original owner, who received the notification, reported the issue to the authorities. Acting swiftly, the traffic police managed to track down and apprehend the suspect within two hours. The team which prompted quick action on the matter included Yohgesh Sanap, assistant police inspector, Kasrvadavli traffic unit, Thane.
