Woodpecker Damage Google Nest Cam

What an unpleasant surprise. Both my cams were damaged by a woodpecker (caught on video). I am surely not the first one this happens. Shouldn't it be stronger to resist an overzealous woodpecker?2 x € 199 down the drain ... really?
